Job summary

Voyage Care is hiring a Support Worker in Leamington Spa. The role pays £12.72 per hour, with enhancements on evenings, weekends and overtime. Typical shifts are 7:00am - 2:30pm and 2:30pm - 10:00pm, with a supported living service focused on helping people gain independence.

You will support individuals in daily activities, personal care and community engagement within a dynamic team. Training and development opportunities are provided, with DBS checks and references required.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress and mental health conditions.
• Experience working with autism and trauma.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily life.

• Encourage access to local communities, socialise and participate in activities.
• Support people in outings to bars, pubs, cinemas and other social settings.

Our supported living service in Leamington Spa is a welcoming and friendly environment, and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
