Job summary

Voyage Care in Spixworth is seeking a genuine, hands-on Enhanced and Complex Support Worker to help people gain more independence in daily life within a supportive team.

You will assist with personal care, encourage community involvement, and participate in a varied activity schedule, including day trips and in-service activities, on shifts that include mornings, evenings and nights. Training and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license required.
• Experience with enhanced support and challenging behaviors.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins.
• Committed to person-centred care and independence.

Enhanced and Complex Support Worker – Spixworth - Payrate starts at £13.89 ph

Typical Shifts are: Mon - Sun - 7am-2:30pm- 2:30pm-10pm - 10pm to 8am ( sleep ins are required as part of this role)

Multi site working at close by services may be required as part of this role - this will be discussed in more depth at shortlisting/interview process

Our supported living service in Spixworth is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the local community on day trips , shopping , the next you could be supporting activities in service or unwinding watching a film!

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
