Job summary

TipTopJob in Christchurch (Dorset) is seeking a motivated Support Worker to join a nursing home providing dementia care and high-quality resident support. The role is a permanent full-time position with day or night shifts, located in a popular seaside area.

The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent and participate in a comprehensive induction and paid training programme, with enhanced rates for bank holidays and numerous employee recognition

Responsibilities

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents.
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship.
• Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities.
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times.

This nursing home specialises in nursing and dementia care from a fabulous location that makes for a popular seaside retreat for individuals

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

As a Support Worker Your Key Duties Include

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well:being and providing the highest quality of care to residents

Benefits

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP13.45 per hour and the annual salary is GBP25,178.40 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working on days or night shifts.
