Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a compassionate Day Support Worker to join Nightingale in Christchurch. You will work full-time, 42 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, providing care and support in a safe, nurturing environment.

Key duties include assisting with medical and welfare needs, safeguarding residents, and enabling participation in community activities. Applicants must have a full UK driving licence (2+ years) and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients and residents.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard those in our care.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
• Support service users with community-based activities and appointments, including driving when required.
