Job summary

Agincare in Chard, Somerset is seeking Bank Support Workers to assist people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs in their own homes and community settings. You will join a caring team delivering person-centred outcomes.

We offer £13.20 per hour, refer a friend bonus, funded training and development, Blue Light card discounts and a company pension. A minimum of 12 months right to work is required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and effective communication.
• Positive, proactive customer-facing attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs to achieve independence.
• Assist with daily living activities, routines, meal planning and budgeting.
• Communicate effectively using individuals' preferred methods.
• Engage individuals in meaningful activities to enhance quality of life.
• Support positive behavioural approaches when needed.
• Record accurate health and care information and report changes to management.
• Work as part of a team and also use own initiative.
