About London Road:

London Road is a friendly and supportive service in Carlisle, currently supporting two adults with learning disabilities and epilepsy, with plans to welcome another person in the future.

As a Support Worker, you'll provide personalised, person‑centred support with day‑to‑day living, while promoting independence, choice and dignity.

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for helping people reach their full potential.

Shift Patterns

This is a 24-hour per week position, working a variety of shifts across a seven‑day rota, including weekends and regular sleep‑ins.

Typical shifts include:

• Long day with sleep‑in: 10:00am to 11:00pm, followed by a sleep‑in, then 7:00am to 10:00am the following morning.
• Weekend support shift: 10:00am to 2:00pm, providing dedicated 1:1 support.

Sleep‑ins are a regular part of the role, with between one and three sleep‑ins each week, depending on the needs of the service.

Weekend working is shared fairly across the team as part of the rota.

NB: This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship under current UK Home Office rules, as it does not meet the required salary or skill level criteria.
