Job summary

Comfort Care Services Ltd is looking for caring, reliable Support Workers to help adults with mental health needs live independently in supported living settings. You will provide compassionate daily support, assist with routines, and promote wellbeing in a team environment.

The role emphasises values, positive attitude and ongoing development; English proficiency and right to work in the UK are essential, with DBS checks and training provided.

Qualifications

  • Strong spoken and written English skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to obtain an Enhanced Adult Workforce DBS Check.
  • Desirable: Health & Social Care Qualification (Level 2 or equivalent).
  • Desirable: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own transport.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Care & Support Worker, you’ll support adults in supported living services to live independently, confidently and safely.

  • Providing compassionate support to clients with mental health & wellbeing needs empowering them to fulfilling and independent lives
  • Supporting our clients with daily living skills and household tasks
  • Promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing
  • Supporting our clients to access education, employment and community activities
  • Assisting with appointments and social outings
  • Encouraging positive mental and physical health
  • Maintaining accurate records and care documentation
  • Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people we support
