Job summary

Comfort Care Services in Woking is seeking caring individuals to join as Care & Support Workers. You will support adults in supported living services to live independently, with emphasis on compassion and reliability.

The role involves a bank/zero-hours contract, with hourly pay of £12.75, and opportunities for training, progression and making a real difference in people’s lives.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English with strong spoken and written skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to obtain an Enhanced Adult Workforce DBS Check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional and practical support.
  • Support people with daily living skills and household tasks.
  • Promote independence, confidence and wellbeing.
  • Help people access education, employment and community activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and care documentation.
  • Work closely with families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Support Assistant, you'll support adults in supported living services to live independently, confidently and safely.

Your Role May Include
  • Providing emotional and practical support
  • Supporting people with daily living skills and household tasks
  • Promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing
  • Supporting people to access education, employment and community activities
  • Maintaining accurate records and care documentation
  • Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people we support

Essential Requirements
  • Strong spoken and written English skills

  • Previous experience in care, support work or customer-facing roles
