Join Our Team as a Support Worker
Location: | Filton, Bristol |
Salary: | £12.30 per hour (£23,985 per annum) plus benefits |
Hours: | 37.5 hours on a shift rota basis, Monday-Sunday, 7:30am-2:30pm / 2pm-10pm |
Contract: | Full-time, Permanent |
Driving Requirement: | A valid full UK manual driving license is essential. You will be required to drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle. |
Right to Work: | Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer skilled worker visas. |

We seek individuals who can stay calm under pressure, are enthusiastic, proactive, and comfortable handling challenging behaviors. A manual UK driving license and comfort driving alternative vehicles are required.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Support Worker, you'll support individuals in their daily lives, helping with personal care, meal prep, medication, and encouraging independence and social engagement. You'll build relationships, support personal goals, and ensure respect and dignity for those you support.
Who Will You Be Supporting?
At Bristol Support Service, we support 9 adults with disabilities including visual impairment, autism, and learning disabilities. Our active community members enjoy outings to discos, pubs, shopping, arts, and music events.
