Job summary

Thera East Midlands is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with a learning disability, helping them live as independently as possible in home and community settings.

No prior experience is required; we provide free, Skills for Care endorsed training and ongoing support. Join an inclusive team that values people-focused care, with flexible hours and a stable monthly salary under Annualised Hours.

Supporting people in their daily lives is varied and could include helping someone develop new skills, providing personal and emotional support, helping people plan and manage their own home, support with leisure, employment, individual interests and travel. This can be a fun and rewarding but also at times challenging and demanding role.

You maybe be supporting people in their own home or out and about in their community.
