Voyage Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker to help residents gain independence and support daily service management. You will assist with supervision, shift allocations, training, inductions, and medication ordering while ensuring financial management support for individuals.
Candidates should have Senior Support Worker experience, Level 3 Health & Social Care, and experience with challenging behaviours, autism, trauma, and forensic histories.
Due to the location of this service you will require your own vehicle to get here, we also require you to have held a UK driving licence for 1 year and be over 21yrs old for insurance purposes, As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision's, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You'll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.
We're interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.

Payrate - £14.27 to £15.77 per hour with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply) Typical Shifts are: 7am - 19:30 or 8am - 20:30
