VOYAGE CARE is recruiting a Senior Support Worker in Thornaby - Riverway Lodge to lead our new neurological behaviour service. You will help people gain more independence, support daily living and contribute to supervision and management of the service.

Ideal candidates have prior Senior Support Worker experience, a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification, and experience working with individuals with acquired brain injuries.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service.
• Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues and support supervision.

Job description

Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We're currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our brand new neurological behaviour service in Thornaby - Riverway Lodge. This service will be a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!, As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision's, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You'll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We're interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals with an acquired brain injury.

£14.22 per hour up to £15.72 per hour with overtime and nights/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply) Typical Shifts are: Monday to Sunday - 7:30am - 3:00pm, 2:30pm - 10:00pm and 10:00pm - 8:0am. Join Voyage Care and Feel Valued, we reward your dedication with:
