Job summary

Care By Us Limited is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to work in domiciliary care across Hertfordshire. No prior social care experience needed; full, paid training is provided.

You’ll support clients to live independently at home, deliver personal care with dignity, offer companionship, assist with medications and daily tasks, and maintain accurate records. We value reliability, a positive attitude, and a heart for making a difference.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle required (essential).
• Genuine compassion and respect for others.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Support people to stay independent in their own homes.
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming).
• Offer companionship and reassurance and build meaningful relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

Every day as a domiciliary Care Assistant is different, but your impact is always the same - life-changing.

You’ll:

• Support people to stay independent in their own homes

• Provide personal care with dignity and respect (including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming)

• Offer companionship and reassurance, building meaningful relationships

• Assist with medication, mobility, and mealtimes

• Be a trusted part of a close-knit, local team

• Carry out light domestic duties (laundry, making beds, light cleaning)

• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor health, reporting any changes

Qualifications
