Job summary

We are seeking a caring, motivated, and adaptable individual to join our Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) as a Support Worker. You will have a genuine interest in mental health, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in a care or support role is desirable, but full training will be provided. As a Support Worker in the CRHTT, you will assist qualified practitioners in delivering intensive, 24 hour support to service users experiencing acute mental health crises, offering an alternative to hospital admission. You will help service users engage with community resources, promote independent living, provide practical and emotional support, and contribute to safeguarding and relapse prevention. The role involves working a rolling rota covering both day and night shifts. Based within Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, you will work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team, including nurses, practitioners, and external agencies.
