Job summary

MPA Recruitment are currently hiring Support Workers to join our team by supporting adults with additional needs in care home settings. You will provide person-centred care and support to adults with a range of needs to help them live as independently as possible.

The role offers flexibility with shifts including days, evenings, and weekends, weekly pay and holiday pay, plus access to on-call support from a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar support or care role.
• NISCC registration (or willingness to apply).
• Health and Social Care qualification (e.g., Level 2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal care and support to service users
• Support individuals during meal times, ensuring nutritional needs are met
• Encourage and promote independence and self-care skills
• Assist with mobility and physical support when required
• Carry out general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Engage with service users through effective and respectful communication
• Contribute to a positive, welcoming, and inclusive day centre environment
• Minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar support or care role
• NISCC registration (or willingness to apply)
• Health and Social Care qualification (e.g., Level 2 or higher)
