An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Support Practitioner to join their Glasgow East Housing Support service. This part-time role involves providing essential support to individuals with autism and personality disorders, ensuring they live their lives to the fullest. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a caring nature, while also being IT literate. The position offers flexible shift patterns, including days, evenings, and weekends, along with additional pay for sleepover shifts. The Richmond Fellowship Scotland makes a real difference in supporting people with their everyday lives. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Glasgow East Housing Support service as Support Practitioner on a part-time basis (30 hours per week).
Due to the nature of this role, we can only accept applications from male candidates.
The role:
As a Support Practitioner, you will predominantly be supporting a service user with autism and personality disorder. Therefore, experience in these fields would be advantageous. Our service user wants to live his life to the fullest, so we are seeking someone energetic, with excellent communication skills.
As well as supporting this particular individual, the successful candidate will support other service users across the Glasgow East service.
To be an amazing Support Practitioner, we'll need you to:
Shift Patterns:
Our dedicated team provide tailored support 24/7 and shift patterns include working days, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and bank/public holidays.
The sleepover part of your shift is not included in your contracted hours so for every sleepover you cover you will be paid an additional £99.20.

All successful Support Practitioner applicants will be given a conditional offer- this is subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and PVG; having a conviction will not necessarily debar you from working in this sector.
