An established industry player is looking for a compassionate Support Practitioner to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with acquired brain injuries. This role involves providing dedicated support to a male service user, ensuring he enjoys life and engages in activities of interest. The Richmond Fellowship Scotland makes a real difference in supporting people with their everyday lives. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Downfield Street service as Support Practitioner on a full-time basis.
Due to the nature of this role, we can only accept applications from male candidates who hold a manual driving license and have access to a car.
The role:
As a Support Practitioner, you will predominantly be supporting a male service user with an acquired brain injury. He wants to experience and enjoy life and to do things and visit places of interest. Our service user will be supported on a 2:1 ratio.
As well as supporting this particular individual, the successful candidate will, at times, support other service users across the service.
To be an amazing Support Practitioner, we’ll need you to:
Shift Patterns:
Our dedicated team provide tailored support 24/7 and shift patterns include working days, evenings, sleepovers, wakened nights, weekends and bank/public holidays.
The sleepover part of your shift is not included in your contracted hours so for every sleepover you cover you will be paid an additional £99.20.

All successful Support Practitioner applicants will be given a conditional offer - this is subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and PVG; having a conviction will not necessarily debar you from working in this sector.
