Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking compassionate Support Practitioners to support people in their own homes in Rutherglen & Cambuslang. No prior care experience is required as full training and a funded SVQ are provided.

This role can be full-time, part-time or bank, with driver preferred but not essential. You will assist with daily living tasks, finances, meals, personal care and participate in activities with the people we support.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Good observation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in their own homes with daily living tasks.
• Support with medication and financial matters as directed.
• Perform housework, meal preparation, and personal care.
• Engage with service users in activities and hobbies to promote wellbeing.
