We’re looking for someone who is kind, patient, reliable and has a great sense of humour — someone who wants to build a genuine connection and make a real difference every day.
As this gentleman's lifeline is his mobility car, we're looking for someone who has a full, UK manual driving licence with a minimum of one years' experience on the roads.
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful.
Our service provides 24/7 care and shift patterns will usually fall into either 10am-10pm or a waking night of 10pm-10am on a rotational basis. Weekend and public holidays will also form part of your shifts.
Waking night shifts are paid at your normal hourly rate, plus an additional payment of £20 per night.
We are looking to fill these vacancies as soon as possible, so reserve the right to close our advert early if we find suitable candidates before the closing date.
Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
