Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking a part-time care assistant in Kilmarnock to support a young lady in her home and community. The role is 20 hours per week, with female-only eligibility as an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.

Training is provided, and funded qualifications are offered as you work. You will join a small, supportive team and work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required.

Working as part of our small team you’ll be supporting a young lady who loves nothing more than keeping active. Due to having her own mobility vehicles you'll need a full UK manual driving licence and at least one year's driving experience.

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns will usually fall seven days a week, between 8am and 8pm and will include weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
