We want people who are:
Some of the people we support do have their own mobility cars, so it would be great if you are also a driver (with a full UK manual licence), but this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidates.
As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible, shifts will usually fall into either early shifts or back shifts between 8am and 7pm. Public holidays and weekends would be a requirement on a rotational basis.
Some of the people we support enjoy going on holiday too, so occasionally you may be asked to support this activity which would also involve working a sleepover. Our sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours, so you’ll receive an additional sleepover payment of between £107.60 per night for each sleepover worked!
Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
