Overview

Are you looking for a rewarding new part-time job with satisfaction you'd struggle to find anywhere else? We\'ve got just the opportunity for you! Our amazing #TeamSchoolPark in Strichen are on the look out for new colleagues on a part-time (20 hours per week) permanent basis.

Responsibilities
  • Support five individuals with profound learning disabilities and complex needs to live in their shared home.
  • Day-to-day support including administering medication, physio activities, moving and assisting, personal care, appointments and housework.
  • Engage in community activities where appropriate, such as going for walks, riding wheelchair bikes, bingo, supporting in the swimming pool and snoozelin.
About You

You don\'t need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we\'ll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you\'ll need. We\'ll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and SSSC yearly registration fees too!

If you don\'t live in Strichen and are not a driver, we will need you to be mindful of the location of our service and be confident that you can travel for your shifts as there are very limited public transport links available that fit with our shift patterns.

Shift Patterns

We have various contracts available, including weekend only contracts. Shifts usually fall between the hours of 0645-2100 hours and waking nights (2100-0700 hours). Weekends are worked on a rotational basis. Waking nights are paid at your normal hourly rate plus an additional £20 for every waking night worked.
