A social services organization in Fraserburgh is seeking compassionate part-time support workers to assist individuals with profound learning disabilities. You don\'t need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we\'ll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you\'ll need. We\'ll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and SSSC yearly registration fees too!
If you don\'t live in Strichen and are not a driver, we will need you to be mindful of the location of our service and be confident that you can travel for your shifts as there are very limited public transport links available that fit with our shift patterns.
All we’ll need you to bring is:
We have various contracts available, including weekend only contracts. Shifts usually fall between the hours of 0645-2100 hours and waking nights (2100-0700 hours). Weekends are worked on a rotational basis. Waking nights are paid at your normal hourly rate plus an additional £20 for every waking night worked.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
