Our secretariat serves over 40 consultant oncologists at Weston Park Hospital and district hospitals across South Yorkshire.
This is an exciting time to join as we digitise our processes to benefit patients and teams.
The successful candidate must be an excellent team player, able to work independently, with excellent organisational skills and accuracy in meeting deadlines.
The main duties include supporting the Medical Secretariat, typing dictations, and demonstrating commitment to the Trust’s PROUD values.
To undertake the medical secretarial role to provide:

The secretariat comprises Medical Secretaries, Support Secretaries, and Audio Typists. Weston Park Hospital is dedicated to non-surgical cancer treatments and collaborates with the University of Sheffield to offer cutting-edge treatments.
This vacancy is fixed-term for up to 12 months. Extension or early termination may occur based on internal/external secondments or organisational needs. Secondments require prior approval from your current manager.
