Job summary

Disability North is seeking a Support Worker to assist a man in his early 40s in his home and local community. You will support daily living skills, personal care, and development of independent life skills, while enabling participation in social and leisure activities.

Experience with learning disabilities, autism or complex behavioural needs is required, and an enhanced DBS check will be necessary for the role.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism or complex behavioural needs.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to a client’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Support a gentleman in his home or local community to achieve his goals.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care.
• Facilitate participation in social, leisure and community activities.
• Follow an enhanced DBS process as required.
