Job summary

Falkirk Council are recruiting a Support for Learning Assistant for St Mary's Primary School. You will provide support for teachers, early years professionals and children to enhance experiences and achievement for children.

You will undertake a range of support activities with regard to general supervision, safety, care and well‑being of the children. You will work 27.5 hours per week on a term time basis, with a Monday to Friday pattern.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills are essential.
• Able to support children with a wide variety of needs and work well in a team.
• Willingness to undertake PVG scheme requirements.

This post is temporary until April 2027 due to service requirement.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
