Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Support Engineer / Technical Consultant to join our high-profile client.

Our client is a global trading platform software business. Its products are used globally by most asset managers and pension funds. They are well known in the fintech space and have offices worldwide. You will be part of a team of 20 in the technical consulting space.

This role is a perfect stepping stone to custom architecture in the financial services sector.

Working with cloud-based, state-of-the-art technology, and a microservices-based wealth management product, the Technical Consultant / Analyst Programmer focuses on integrating software into clients' operating environments, while demonstrating how to use products more efficiently to help reach their objectives and targets.

Technical Consultants / Support Developers must have:

• A background in software engineering, with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Design, Implementation, Testing, Deployment, and Support phases.
• Knowledge of application servers such as Jboss/WebSphere.
• Technical experience with designing systems utilizing OOAD, SOA, Java, J2EE, Spring, React.js, Node.js, Hibernate, SOAP/REST web services using XML/JSON, Spring Security, SpringBoot, and AMQP/RabbitMQ.
• Experience in writing SQL query reports and creating data correction scripts, including writing stored procedures using SQL Server.
• An understanding of common AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, Lambda, AWS MQ).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
