Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Support Driver to join our Sapphire Utility Solutions division, supporting United Utilities contracts nationwide. You will drive a drop-side van, load and deliver materials to sites, and collect barriers and fittings after works.

You will operate safely, assist with site setup, and transport items between depots and suppliers. Lifting up to 25 kg is required; flexible hours may be needed to support emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence and a towing licence.
• NRSWA Unit 2 qualification is required.
• Experience driving and operating a drop-side van is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a drop-side van, loading and delivering materials to sites and collecting barriers and fittings after works.
• Carry out jet washes and transport materials to and from depots, suppliers and builders' merchants.
• Work safely, assist with site establishment and clearance, and maintain vehicle and equipment in good condition.
• Complete documentation in line with contract requirements and report safety issues as needed.
• Liaise with Support Services and Street Works Team to manage liabilities and focus on right-first-time delivery.
