Job summary

Waythrough is recruiting a Support Coordinator in Sheffield to help people secure housing and recovery support. You will develop personalised plans, deliver group sessions, and coordinate with agencies to ensure safe, stable progress toward accommodation.

The role requires experience in housing or related complex needs, strong communication, safeguarding awareness, and the ability to work both independently and within a team, with some evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with housing, recovery or other complex needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive, professional relationships.
• An understanding of safeguarding, risk management and person-centred support.
• Good organisation and record keeping skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends when required.

• Deliver housing, tenancy readiness and recovery-focused group sessions.

• Attend multi-agency meetings and undertake outreach where required.

Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £25,877.80 - £34,240.03 per annum Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band.

About the Role

As a Support Coordinator at The Greens, you’ll work as part of our Sheffield Accommodation team, supporting people to develop the skills, confidence and stability they need to live independently and move towards sustained accommodation. You’ll provide practical, person-centred housing and recovery support, working with individuals to understand their needs, manage risks and develop achievable support plans. You’ll also deliver group sessions covering areas such as housing options, tenancy readiness and recovery-focused programmes. This is a varied role where you’ll build positive relationships with the people we support while working closely with colleagues, referral agencies and other professionals to help individuals achieve lasting and meaningful outcomes.

What You’ll Do

To Succeed in This Role
