Job summary

Academics is recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Retford on an ad-hoc, short-term and temporary basis from September 2026.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain varied classroom experience while making a positive difference to pupils' learning and development. You will work across multiple schools in Retford with an emphasis on inclusivity and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
• CACHE or NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning preferred but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• Flexibility to work across different primary schools around Retford.
• Commitment to safeguarding and annual safeguarding training.
• Right to work in the UK.

Academics is recruiting enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Retford on an ad-hoc, short-term and temporary basis from September 2026.
