Academics is seeking enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Retford on a temporary basis from September 2026. Academics is recruiting enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Retford on an ad-hoc, short-term and temporary basis from September 2026.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Previous experience working with children or within an educational setting is desirable.
• A CACHE or NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is preferred but not essential.
• An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
• Flexibility to work across different primary schools in and around Retford.
• A commitment to safeguarding and completing annual safeguarding training.
• The right to work in the UK.
