Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Chorley is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant for the Autumn Term 2026. You will work in a mainstream primary school, supporting learning, confidence and development while contributing to an engaging classroom environment.

With responsibilities across daily activities, one-to-one and small-group support, you will help create a nurturing, inclusive setting and foster pupil progress throughout September to December 2026.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children.
  • Teaching Assistant experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Genuine passion for education and child development.

Role Overview

Are you looking for a Teaching Assistant role where you can make a real difference every day? We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Chorley for the Autumn Term 2026.

Working alongside experienced teachers, you will support pupils' learning, confidence, and development while helping create an engaging and positive classroom environment.
