Job summary

GSL Education are seeking a Supply Teacher to join a Sheffield school on a long-term basis. You will deliver well-structured lessons, manage classrooms, and adapt to a range of year groups. This role requires QTS and an enhanced DBS or willingness to apply through GSL Education. Immediate start available.

You will work in a supportive environment focused on safeguarding, pupil progress and positive behaviour. Two recent references and right-to-work in the UK are essential.

Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

As a Supply Teacher, you will take responsibility for delivering well-structured lessons, maintaining positive classroom routines and supporting pupils to stay engaged with their learning. You will use your teaching experience to adapt to different classes, establish effective relationships quickly and ensure pupils continue to make progress throughout the school day.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• A commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences.
• An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
