TeacherActive is recruiting for Cover Supervisors to support a network of secondary schools in Newport and surrounding areas. You will supervise classes, maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment for students aged 11 to 16+.

We welcome flexible candidates who can work across departments, adapt to daily staffing needs, and communicate effectively with pupils and staff. A dedicated consultant will guide you through onboarding and ensure smooth assignments.

Qualifikationen

• Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+.
• Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged.
• Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily.

Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn’t include planning and preparation; however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+
• Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
• Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
