TeacherActive is seeking confident Cover Supervisors to work in Secondary Schools around Newtown. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour and keep pupils engaged across KS3 and KS4.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused on their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a UK Secondary School environment
• Confidence supervising classes across KS3 and KS4
