Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting primary schools across Leeds in recruiting enthusiastic teachers to deliver engaging lessons and foster a positive learning environment. Whether you prefer flexible day-to-day supply, short-term placements or longer-term roles, we have positions to suit your availability.

Ideal candidates hold QTS, have at least six months of primary school experience, and possess an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS and be registered as a teacher.
• Minimum of 6 months' experience in a primary school.
• Enhanced DBS checked and on Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Support pupils of varying abilities and learning needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff.
• Adapt to different school settings, routines and expectations.
• Provide continuity of learning during teacher absences.

The Successful Primary School Teacher Will:
