Job summary

SNG Barratt Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Supply Planner to keep supply and demand in balance, maintain accurate master data across ERP systems, and collaborate with teams to ensure customers receive the parts they need.

You will oversee day-to-day flow of purchased and manufactured products, plan replenishment, monitor order status, and work with Procurement, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Quality to resolve issues. This role emphasizes inventory health and service targets.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply chain, planning, or inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability.
  • Proficient in at least one ERP system; experience with multiple is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail and structured problem-solving.
  • Clear communicator and effective collaborator.
  • Strong ownership and accountability mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive aftermarket, or multi‑SKU environments desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage product supply in line with demand and service targets.
  • Execute replenishment and/or production plans.
  • Identify and resolve shortages, back orders, or supply risks.
  • Monitor inbound orders, shipments, and delivery status.
  • Maintain inventory within agreed safety‑and cycle‑stock targets.
  • Review inventory health: safety, cycle, above‑window, VAR.
  • Drive actions to reduce excess, ageing, and obsolete stock.
  • Report on inventory performance, turns, and stock health.
  • Manage day‑to‑day supplier communication on orders, shipments, and production schedules.
  • Track supplier OTIF and elevate issues as needed.
  • Collaborate across Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Quality to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate inbound logistics with suppliers and logistics partners.
  • Maintain all master data across ERP systems (lead times, MOQs, reorder points, costs).
  • Audit and update data regularly for accuracy.
  • Analyse ERP and Excel data to support planning and forecasting accuracy.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Quality teams.
  • Align with global Supply Chain teams on priorities and actions.
  • Contribute to planning reviews with insights on demand, inventory, and supplier performance.

Collaboration is key — you’ll partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, efficient supply performance that keeps our customers at the heart of everything we do.

Planning & Availability
