Randstad Education is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to support Sheffield primary schools. The role focuses on delivering a play-based, curiosity-driven environment for young learners and ensuring strong early literacy and numeracy foundations.
Candidates with QTS (or equivalent) and EYFS experience will contribute to a supportive team, implementing phonics programmes such as Read Write Inc. and Little Wandle, and maintaining high standards of behaviour and assessment.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with specific UK teaching experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
In-depth knowledge and confident implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework and phonics programmes (e.g., Read Write Inc., Little Wandle).
Proven ability to plan, resource, and deliver an engaging, continuous provision environment that drives early literacy, numeracy, and personal development.
Excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective approach to assessing young children's learning milestones.
An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
Competitive daily rates of pay paid weekly via PAYE.
