Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a Primary Teacher to work across Key Stage 2 in a mainstream Sheffield school. The role is available full-time or part-time starting ASAP, with a strong focus on planning engaging lessons and maintaining high standards of behaviour.

The successful candidate will hold QTS (ECTs welcome), have experience in UK primary settings, and demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills to support pupil progress and contribute to a positive learning

Qualifications

• Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS and UK classroom experience.
• KS2 curriculum knowledge and ability to plan engaging lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS2.
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and progress.
• Support pupils’ progress and adapt teaching as needed.

The school is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to work across Key Stage 2 / KS2, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available starting ASAP. The successful Primary Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively and support pupils in making positive progress.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching or completing placements within a UK primary school
• Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 2 / KS2 curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
