Job summary

Samworth Brothers is seeking a Supply & Demand Planner to own forecasting and supply plans for a designated category, balancing customer demand with optimal stock levels.

You will provide rolling forecasts, analyse trends and work across the business to proactively manage supply chain challenges, aiming to deliver excellent service while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Materials Planning, Production Planning or Inventory Planning.
• Experience of planning within a manufacturing, production or supply chain environment.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and adapt to changing business needs.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory and demand planning principles.

About The Role

As Supply & Demand Planner, you'll take ownership of forecasting and supply plans for a designated category, balancing customer demand with optimal stock levels to ensure excellent service while controlling costs. You'll provide rolling forecasts, analyse trends and work collaboratively across the business to proactively manage supply chain challenges.
