Job summary

Morgan Ryder Associates is seeking an experienced Supply Planner to oversee purchasing, supplier relationships and stock availability across a key product category. You will ensure on-time purchasing and delivery, optimise stock levels and maintain high customer service levels.

You will manage supplier relationships, forecast demand, coordinate bookings and work with Marketing on new product launches, while identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving supply-chain processes.

• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Experience of forecasting, stock management and purchase orders.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and supplier-management skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, commercial and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving purchasing and supply-chain processes.

An established and growing manufacturing and distribution business is looking for an experienced Supply Planner to manage purchasing, supplier relationships and stock availability across a key product category.

This is a role with responsibility for ensuring products are purchased and delivered on time, stock levels are optimised and customer service levels are maintained.

Key Responsibilities as Supply Planner

• Manage purchasing and purchase orders in line with demand and forecasts.
