About the job you're considering

Capgemini Engineering is seeking Supply Chain Quality Engineers with experience in Commercial Aerospace to join our team in Bristol, Belfast, Broughton, or Prestwick.

Hybrid working: The work location will vary between company offices, client sites, and your home, depending on role needs. Note that working from home 100% of the time is not possible.

Your Role

• Act as key operational interface between the client and suppliers, fostering trust and teamwork.
• Assess supplier capacity, capability, and performance; contribute to supplier development.
• Challenge suppliers on contract modifications to stay within ISO perimeter (OTOCOQ).
• Contribute to documentation clarifying business relations (Change requests, Specifications, etc.).
• Ensure quality and timely delivery by managing milestones and reviews.
• Verify compliance and secure industrial maturity through inspections and assessments.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and represent supply chain in various forums.
• Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects.
• Identify industrial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Manage supply chain and quality aspects of contracts, ensuring on-time, on-quality, and on-cost performance.
• Manage supplier quality approvals and certification compliance.

Your Skills and Experience

• At least three years’ experience in manufacturing within Aerospace industries.
• Experience with MRP/ERP tools, preferably SAP.
• Ability to work under high pressure to resolve material supply issues.
• Effective workload prioritization and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and report to stakeholders.
