Job summary

D R Newitt Recruitment is seeking an experienced End-to-End Supply Chain Planner to manage material and finished goods supply from global suppliers into the UK for retail and B2B manufacturing customers.

You will plan materials and finished goods, manage lead times, and optimize inventory while working with Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales and Logistics to ensure on-time deliveries. Strong SAP and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as an End-to-End Supply Chain Planner or similar role.
• Raw material planning experience in manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Experience managing global suppliers and inbound UK supply.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Plan the supply of raw materials and finished goods to meet customer demand and production requirements.
• Manage supplier orders, lead times, and inbound shipments from global suppliers.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while ensuring high product availability.
• Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Logistics teams to support production and customer deliveries.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply issues.
• Analyse forecasts, inventory, and supply data using SAP and Excel.
• Drive continuous improvements across planning and inventory management.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in an End-to-End Supply Chain Planner, Supply Planner, or Material Planner role.
• Experience in raw material planning within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Experience managing global suppliers and inbound supply into the UK.
• Strong SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
