SES Engineering Services are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Central team focussing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.
The focus of the role is to lead on implementing the SES Supply Chain for our Central region, supporting the preconstruction and delivery teams with close management of supply chain relationships, ensuring that the processes are managed effectively in order to maximise value and opportunity and manage risk.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Supply Chain Managers are a valuable part of our business, the focus of this role will be to provide visible leadership, insight, direction and foresight in the safe and profitable delivery of schemes, while also providing excellent customer satisfaction and successfully develop a team.
As our Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Being integral in setting Project Procurement plans with the team and delivering successful outcomes
- Select suppliers using a structured business-based comparison (commercial/ operations) to generate a shortlist and recommendations
- Maximise value by considering alternative options - product/ programme/ business opportunities
- Gain a detailed understanding of offering from the sub-contractor against Wates strategic targets including mutual business benefits
