The Vacancy

SES Engineering Services is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our Central team, focusing on high-profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

The role involves leading the implementation of SES's Supply Chain in the Central region, supporting preconstruction and delivery teams with managing supply chain relationships to maximize value, opportunities, and risk management.

About the Role

Our Supply Chain Managers are vital to our business. This role provides leadership, insight, and strategic direction to ensure the safe and profitable delivery of schemes, excellent customer satisfaction, and team development.

Responsibilities include:

1. Setting project procurement plans with the team and ensuring successful outcomes.
2. Selecting suppliers through structured comparison to generate recommendations.
3. Maximizing value by exploring alternative options in products, programs, and business opportunities.
4. Understanding subcontractor offerings against Wates' strategic targets, including mutual benefits.
