Job summary

Boeing DefenceUK, based in Bristol, seeks a Supply Chain Intern (Fixed Wing) to support day-to-day parts management, demand forecasting, and supplier activity tracking. This role forms part of the UK supply chain function under Boeing Defence UK, a subsidiary of The Boeing Company.

The ideal candidate is studying Business/Finance or Supply Chain management, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and analytical thinking.

Qualifications

Pursuing a business, finance or related degree.
Pursuing a supply chain management degree.
Strong written and oral communication skills required.
IT proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint expected.
Demonstrated analytical ability and ethics are valued.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day support and management of assigned parts and liaising with customers.
Use reporting to address actions: New Buys, Excess, Allocations; analyse stock and consumption data.
Work with KPIs to support supplier activities and contract execution.
Contribute to risk, issue and opportunity management and cost-reduction initiatives.
Review inputs into the demand forecasting tool and support UK sourcing strategy.
Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and manage stakeholder expectations.
Prepare and issue contracting docs: RFQ, RFI, Purchase Orders.
Monitor supplier performance against targets and drive improvements.
