Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a proactive supply chain/procurement student to support demand forecasting, supplier performance, and contracting documentation. This role is based in the UK and focuses on developing best practices to improve efficiency and cost control.

You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, prepare RFQs/RFPs, negotiate terms, and help manage KPIs while supporting continuous process improvements. Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and UK work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of demand forecasting and supplier performance management.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Experience in contract documentation or RFQs/RFPs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage assigned parts and liaise with internal and external customers regarding demand priority and criticality.
• Use reporting to address New Buys, Excess Requests, Allocations, Target Stock Levels, Consumption Data, and Condemnation Rates.
• Support contractual KPIs and supplier activities while developing best practices.
• Identify and project-manage risks, issues, opportunities, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Review inputs into the demand forecasting tool.
