Job summary

NHS Supply Chain in the UK is seeking a Supply Chain Insights Analyst to turn data into actionable insights across operations. The role involves analysing complex data, developing reporting and dashboards, and supporting improvements in inventory, service delivery and third‑party logistics.

You will work with analysts, managers and stakeholders to drive data-led decisions. The position is hybrid (Alfreton or Wakefield), with two days in the office weekly, offering a starting salary of £37,502

Job Title: Supply Chain Insights Analyst

Function: Supply Chain - Logistics

Location: Hybrid – Alfreton or Wakefield – expectation of two days minimum office working per week

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: Offered on a starting salary of £37,502 with a potential increase of up to £41,669 over the course of three years

Join our Supply Chain Insights team and play a key role in turning data into actionable insights that improve operational performance and support strategic decision‑making across our supply chain.

Working closely with analysts, development managers and operational stakeholders, you'll analyse complex data, identify trends, develop reporting and dashboards, and support continuous improvement initiatives across areas such as inventory management, service delivery and third‑party logistics. You'll use business intelligence, statistical analysis and emerging technologies to help drive efficiency, improve processes and deliver better business outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and proactive, with strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for using data to influence decision‑making and create positive change.
