Job summary

NHS Supply Chain in the UK is seeking a Supply Chain Insights Analyst to turn data into actionable insights across operations. The role involves analysing complex data, developing reporting and dashboards, and supporting improvements in inventory, service delivery and third‑party logistics.

You will work with analysts, managers and stakeholders to drive data-led decisions. The position is hybrid (Alfreton or Wakefield), with two days in the office weekly, offering a starting salary of £37,502

Qualifications

• Data analysis and insight generation – You'll be confident analysing large datasets, identifying trends and translating information into insights.
• Reporting, database and technical skills – You'll create accurate reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Statistical and analytical thinking – You'll use statistical methods to support forecasting and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and performance metrics for stakeholders.
• Support predictive analytics and AI-enabled initiatives through statistics and data modelling.
• Gather business requirements and define data-led improvements with stakeholders.
• Promote data governance and data quality to support governance standards.
