BSW Group, part of Binderholz - Europe's leading timber processing operation - is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Supply Chain Controller to support our Retail Supply Chain team at our Stoke site.

About The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid experience in supply chain or procurement to take on a pivotal role. You will work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations, provide strong data insights, and optimize the supply chain. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing our SAP systems and processes to enhance performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Manage supplier performance and collaborate with third-party providers
2. Build relationships with customers and internal departments
3. Analyze sales forecasts, demand models, and scheduling requirements
4. Prepare and process stock orders to minimize disruptions and shortages
5. Provide data insights and support decision-making strategies
6. Monitor procurement activity and optimize stock levels
7. Support and enhance our SAP/MRP systems, including reporting and training
8. Champion continuous improvement and sustainability in supply chain processes

What We’re Looking For

1. Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, or category management
2. Proficiency in SAP - essential
3. Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced level)
4. Experience in manufacturing or timber-related industries is advantageous
5. Highly numerate, analytical, and organized
6. Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach
7. GCSE Maths grade 5 (C) or above
8. Working towards CIPS or a related degree is a plus
