Job summary

Raytheon UK in Livingston is seeking a Warehouse Operative for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This onsite, full-time role supports receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods with focus on accuracy and safety.

You will help sustain stock levels, label goods correctly, and contribute to a clean, well-organised warehouse environment. The role requires good attention to detail, physical fitness for manual handling, reliable teamwork, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming deliveries against relevant documentation.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and within required timescales.
• Prepare goods for dispatch and ensure they are correctly labelled.
• Carry out stock checks and assist with regular stocktaking.
• Keep accurate records of stock movements and warehouse activities.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment where trained and authorised.
• Ensure goods are stored correctly and securely.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and warehouse processes.
• Report damaged, missing or incorrect stock to the appropriate manager.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Carry out other reasonable warehouse duties as required.

12-month Fixed Term Contract

To support the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse by receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods accurately and safely, while maintaining high standards of organisation and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities
